Hello!
Since I launched Itzy Bitz of Health there has been so much growth. As a private chef I love feeding people, and as a nutrition coach I love talking about how you can feed yourself. I have learned so much about communication, and the sharing of nutritional information. I have also learned that people aren’t ready to change, until they are ready to change. One client really shed light on their progress when they mentioned they couldn’t feel how the food was affecting them. This took me down a long path of discovery to understand the word “embodiment". If we are not rooted in our bodies, we can’t feel the affect life has on our bodies. When we disassociate from our bodies, the result is a disconnection to the food we eat, the feelings we have, as well as the incessant mind chatter that can be mean, judgmental, jealous, and often guiding us in a direction we innately don’t want to go.
Insert Breathing! I have never become so connected to the inner workings of my mind, body and spirit until I began breathing. We breathe all the time, we have to breath to live, but do you pay attention to how you breath during stress, when you are calm, during exercise, or even at work? Do you pay attention to your breath when you are horking down a meal without even tasting what is on your plate? Within the tradition of yoga, there is yoga as movement to release the excess energy with in the body, then breathe to center the mind and regulate the nervous system. When we begin to practice this way, we begin to connect to what “WE" need for “OUR" health, not what someone else is doing. Insert my new offering for 2025!!!
Beginning Breath Work Workshop
January 6, 2025 - February 24th, 2025, every Monday from 6:30-8pm, we will get together to learn, move, breathe, sip and nibble, here in Carbondale.
We will Start the New Year revitalizing ourselves, and our daily habits and practices with movement, breath and nutrition. Educational information around the benefits of breath work will be shared. I will also be including nervous system information, embodiment practices, and some introspective journaling moments. We will learn the foundational breath techniques, and after we move through some breath influenced yoga movement, we will sit and breathe together, and learn how to incorporate the practice into our daily habits. We will finish the time spent together enjoying a sip of tea and a nibble.

Private Sessions
If a group vibe isn’t your jam, or you do not live in my general area of Carbondale, CO, but are wanting to work with me then let’s go online in a private setting. We will meet in a Zoom room.
What does private work look like online? First we will identify what it is you are wanting to work on. I focus on mind, body and soul revitalization. Generally unleveling your health and wellness practices if you are feeling low, out of wack and in need of a “Bopp” in your habits. I am aware of needs around injury and illness recovery ie chronic pain. Really it is important to meet with me and talk about your needs and see if I am a fit into your health and wellness plan.
